Singing - with attitude! -
Singing Blokes

In 2007 Chris ran away from home and joined the circus. That is to say, he got picked up by the vast, rumbling, black-clad behemoth that is The Spooky Men's Chorale.

The '09/11/13/2015 UK and 2014 Denmark Tour were further testosterone-fuelled triumphs of manly foolishness and hairy harmonies, and there is now an improbable UK-based spinoff, A Fistful of Spookies performing select gigs around the country.

Singing like a bloke has had a profound effect. During 2008 as a result of a one-off workshop, The Magnificent AK47 (the singing blokes of Ashton Keynes) were conceived, gestated and dragged, kicking and growling into the world. We now perform regularly in pubs, breweries and the occasional theatre around Wiltshire, and sometimes conduct cross-border raids into Gloucestershire.

In 2012, we stayed over the county-line for a whole weekend - our first Blokefest. This proved so popular that its happened annualy since, although we've finally made it back to Wiltshire.

The only requirement is a Y chromosome and the desire to tap into your inner minstrel (whether or not you think you can sing).
